Fantastic Four Get HEMI Power

Fans of the Fantastic Four series (comics and movies) will be delighted for the upcoming summer sequel to 2005’s Fantastic Four film, the Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. The fantastic Four is originally a superhero comic book from Marvel Comics and has come to life with its 2005 flick directed by the notable Tim Story.

Aide from anew storyline branded with a sequel, much hype has stirred across viewers’ scrutiny as the movie unveiled its drastically styled supercar. The Fantastic Four took behind the wheel of the “Fantasticar”, powered by a Dodge HEMI.

The vehicle’s performance parts have been certainly crafted for heroes. Tim Flattery penned the film version of the car with the input of Chrysler group chief stylist Trevor Creed. In the movie (no, this is not a spoiler. I’m just dishing out bits of the supercar), the Fantasticar can break into three sections and spots deployable wings which is not found standard on any Dodge HEMI. Too bad, we could really need a supercar that’s charged with hero potential on our gears.

The movie features the Fantastic four and the supercar defending the earth once again. It will feature the Silver Surfer (who “races around the global wreaking havoc”) and Doctor Doom as its central antagonists. The plant-eating Galactus may or may not be featured in the film, as the stars all give conflicting reports on whether or not he will appear.

The sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, will debut in theaters in June 15, 2007.

He-Man’s Battle Ram

Some machines don’t conceive to terrorize but who can forget He-Man’s massive, heavy-duty Battle Ram? If you’re a fan of the Masters of the Universe classic, I’m sure you have seen tech-heavy machines and vehicle tanks ready for rampaging villains and terrains alike.

This battle tank is a vehicle which was featured in the 1980s He-Man Masters of the Universe ridden by Ram-Man that’s’ why the tank has its namesake.

The Battle Ram’s exterior car parts are hued in a bluish army-like color. This beast of a vehicle is a tank that’s capable of battering down objects in its path. Even huge mountains and rocks are in for a rough treatment since this beast is capable of battering anything that’s blocking its way. It’s not enough for placing a stop sign ahead of it.

In the early mini He-Man comics, the Battle ram was He-Man’s personal vehicle handed down by The Goddess as a gift. It was actually the first MOTU vehicle featured in the minicomics series. Later on, the Battle Ram was shown as a generic vehicle with the Heroic warriors using many Battle rams. The Evil Warriors used green Battle rams which could have been Mattel’s inspiration in creating the Road Ripper.

As time goes by, the Battle Ram has evolved which underwent significant changes. In the 2002 MOTU Series (a favorite since it’s also shown in the famed Cartoon Network), a new vehicle with a similar name appeared.

The new vehicle was dissimilar to the original Battle Ram but it was named as the Battle Ram Chariot. It’s not He-Man’s or Ram-Man’s battle tank but Skeletor’s personal chariot pulled by two battering rams (the arch nemesis of He-Man, Skeletor’s that guy with a horrifying worn skull as a face).

If modernized and advanced battle chariots are your thing, check out www.battletanks.com (collection of details and photos of tanks used by leading countries from WWII to the latest armed by today’s automotive industry) for more battering action.
