The Delta Runners in Power Rangers: S.P.D.
I remember, when I was a kid, I used to go straight home after school just to watch the Mighty Morphine Power Rangers. I know you are familiar with these heroic teenagers who were given power zords to use these against the evil invaders of the earth.
What amazes me on that particular TV series were the cars used by the Power Rangers. At my young age, I already displayed my enthusiasm towards cars. The series which I love the most was the Power Rangers: S.P.D. where these Rangers are given power zords and law-enforcement vehicles called the Space Patrol Delta. Mind you, I even bought a complete set of those cars.
These vehicles are like Transformers. There are five cars and these cars are transformed into head, arms, chest, waist and legs to form a huge robot that fights with the humongous monsters on the city.
These vehicles are called the Delta Runners.
The Delta Runner 1 is run by the red ranger named Jack. This vehicle is 6-wheeler police car that forms the arms of the Megazord. The main attack of this robocar is called the Transformation Delta where the Delta Runners 3 and 4 combines their powers to destroy the monster.
The Delta Runner 2 is driven by Sky, the blue ranger. The vehicle is a futuristic gyro-copter that uses laser beams as well as Rescue Cable to battle up effectively with the presence of the evil monsters.
The green ranger owns the Delta Runner 3 which is a sleek-looking truck. The huge trailer is so powerful to give out Mega Blaster as well as the Delta Sword’s blade. The main power of the Zord comes from the Mega Blaster. The intensive power of the mega Blaster can also be used by the Mega Zord to defeat its villain. It also fires out a Super Crime Scene Tape.
The armored truck is the Delta Runner 4 driven by the yellow ranger Z. the power of the floodlights is used to blind the enemies. It also becomes the sword of the Mega Zord.
The last vehicle is the cutest small buggy-like car among them all. The Delta Runner 5 is owned by the pink ranger named Sydney . It uses the electronic sign to traffic and make decisions. It is also an amphibian car that can go underwater but it was never shown on the series.
