CARS are STARS

Cars are stars too. They tickle your craving for feverish race and powerful off-road escapades. But they could mean more. Actually, there are lots of movies that made cars shine luminously on the big screen.

There’s Herbie the Love Bug Collection - a classic family film that features the ever lovable Volkswagen bug Herbie. The VW Beetle bug deflector won’t be able to stop your chant that goes: THE LOVE BUG, HERBIE RIDES AGAIN, HERBIE GOES TO MONTE CARLO and HERBIE GOES BANANAS.

Speed Racer with Katsuji Mori, which is based on the classic series created by anime pioneer Tatsuo Yoshida, was definitely a great hit. With 11 jaw-dropping episodes, the movie could keep you stuck on your couch while tracking Speed’s quest for victory in his thundering Mach 5.

If you want a dash of detective thrill, you can go for Bullitt, a movie in the 1960s about a detective sent by a politician to catch a big-time gangster, so he can procure him before a Senate crime committee for selfish gain. Hair-raising chasin’ and ridin’ that’s what you’ll obtain. The movie inspired the grille that prominently stresses the Ford Mustang tail light cover.

If you want to experience what it feels like riding an Indy race car, go for Super Speedway: The Mach II. Originally filmed in the IMAX format and exhibited in IMAX theatres throughout the world, the movie could offer you a hang-on-to-your-seat thrill ride.

Ronin, which stars Robert De Niro, will satisfy your thirst for suspense and uncovering dark secrets. Through a maze of political deception and confounding confusion, the movie could enlighten you more about munitions, covert operations and surveillance…

Whatever your fave movie genre is, cars could add zest to it. That’s for sure!
